walkin' on sunshine

• We all have the stomach bug. Again. So my remaining Christmas posts will be unforgivably late.
• Lizzie has not wanted to eat really anything at all, but tonight I made rice cooked in chicken stock instead of water and she liked it and ate a bunch. It made my mommy-heart happy to see her eat. Especially since lately I cannot understand the amount of food this girlie can put away when she is healthy. It's mind-boggling.
• I have not had an appetite for days. It is so sad. I love to eat, and my joy has been taken away. :)
• Summer is very far away, isn't it? I somehow think that today would have felt better if it was sunny and ninety degrees outside. The cold somehow makes full-body aches worse.
• Hope. I have high hopes that tomorrow morning we will all wake up ready to eat eggs, and bacon, and pancakes, and then do school, and merrily sing and laugh and play, and enjoy each other's company, without a fuss to be heard. I have hope.
