Why do I love hats with ears so much? Why do babies look so cute in them? Why do they require much picture-taking?



One day this week we took Lizzie outside for a few pushes on the swing. I didn't manage to get any photos of that, but I did, of course, get a few shots of her face peeking out of the blue hood with ears.

3 months

I cannot believe this was three months ago. It seems like yesterday.

If Lizzie lives at home for 18 years, I will have 213 more months with her. And I will still probably feel like I just had her yesterday.

on the job

I wrote about Adam's new job back in July. God has continued to bless abundantly above all we could have ever asked or imagined in the last year. In each and every way, this job has been great; it has been great for our family, a great use of Adam's talents and skills, great opportunities for Adam and his office manager to tell others of Christ, and ultimately a great display of God's love and grace.

Adam has been working hard, but he has had a little help.

The little known secret of Adam's success has been having the right tools to do the job: two laptops, an iPhone, a blackberry, and a baby.

Don't you wish you could reach through your computer monitor and give those cheeks a squeeze? They are very squishy, believe me.

I took this photo when she was three weeks old. Since she is now ten weeks old, her face is much fatter. Much. But she still crosses her eyes from time to time.

And since I haven't posted anything in two months, I thought this would be a good way to get back to blogging about this little life of mine.

I will try to get some more photos of my little fatty up soon (no promises). Really, I will try my very best.
